Summer School (K – 8th)
Build skills & confidence by completing summer school requirements in a 1-on-1 environment geared to each student’s specific needs.
Credit Recovery (9th – 12th)
Has your student failed a course & your already-scheduled vacation conflicts with summer school? Have your student take the course 1-on-1 to be on track next year.
Original Credit (9th – 12th)
Your student can take a course 1-on-1 over the summer to get ahead for next year, lighten course load, enhance transcripts, or catch up on previously skipped credits.
In order to help facilitate the considerable adjustment to Charter’s curriculum and to encourage academic success, Charter School of Wilmington has recently announced a Back to Basics Learning Dynamics reading skills tutorial for freshmen for summer 2013.
Back to Basics developed its summer tutorial to fit CSW’s English department’s recommendations including a review and application of reading comprehension strategies, a practice with DCAS-based questions, and a review of some writing skills. The tutorial will use one or both summer reading works in its program.

Each summer Back to Basics offers 1-on-1 tutoring and summer school in 60 subjects all geared to fit into your schedule. Our summer school is approved by the Department of Education. We will come to your home, day camp or daycare or you can come to one of our two Centers in Wilmington and Newark. Everything is geared to making your summer as relaxing as possible.
