Children's Book WeekEstablished in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, commemorative events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes — wherever young readers and books connect!  Children’s Book Week is administered by Every Child A Reader, a 501(c)(3) literacy organization dedicated to instilling a lifelong love of reading in children.

Back to Basics’ Reading is Basic Program surpasses 2,000 books for Delaware Title 1 students!

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. in a unique partnership with the literacy organization Success Won’t Wait, Inc., recently provided over 300 books to Title 1 students in celebration of National I Love to Read Month. Together, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics and Success Won’t Wait launched the “Reading is Basic Program” in 2011 and this month marks the program’s second anniversary. Since its inception, the program has provided over 2,000 books to Title 1 schoolchildren in grades K-8.
