American LegionTo qualify for this college scholarship, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident under 20 years of age, must be attending high school or junior high, and must compete in the American Legion oratorical contest at the national level.

The award must be used at a college or university in the U.S. for actual school costs, including tuition, room and board, fees, and books.
