Delaware Community FoundationDelaware’s college-bound seniors should review the Delaware Community Foundation’s Scholarship Compendium to learn more about thousands of dollars available in college tuition assistance.

The Delaware Community Foundation manages charitable funds for individuals, families, businesses and organizations, and distributes income from the funds as grants to humanitarian, educational, health, and cultural entities throughout the First State.

There are over 1,000 scholarships, more than $200 million in assets, and annual grants of approximately $15 million! Opportunities are available for students in all three Delaware counties.

Students can complete just one application for multiple scholarships to be awarded for the 2015-2016 school year.…

Governor Minner Biotech Scholarship available for Delaware students

Award: Scholarships of up to $3,500 each will be awarded to students attending each of the three eligible institutions. The type and amount of aid shall be at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Community Foundation.

Eligibility: Must be planning to obtain a degree or certificate in the biotech field from the University of Delaware, Delaware State University or Delaware Technical & Community College. Must demonstrate excellent grades in academic courses, including basic science courses and relevant specialized courses.
