The National Space Club awards a $10,000 scholarship each year, in memory of Dr. Robert H. Goddard, America’s rocket pioneer. The scholarship is presented at the Goddard Memorial Dinner each spring, for the following academic year.

Through these scholarship awards, Sodexo Foundation recognizes and rewards students, ages 5-25, who are driving awareness and mobilizing youth to be catalysts for innovative models and solutions to eliminate hunger across the country.

Rosa Parks imageThis college scholarship is for individuals who are enrolled or accepted to a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at an accredited college or university in the United States. To apply, applicants must submit an original essay of 500 words or less that responds to the following prompt: “Describe an experience that illustrates your connect to advancing equality in America.”

Applicants must also submit a short bio statement (150 words max) and a resume demonstrating a commitment to civil liberties issues and/or community service in employment or volunteer experiences.
