Drug free slogan contest for high school students deadline is November 14!

mentor-150High school students, grades 9-12, can now visit www.MentorFoundationUSA.org and enter the message that keeps them motivated for success and away from drugs. Mentor Foundation USA will choose a winning slogan and H&M will design a t-shirt featuring that slogan to be sold nationwide!

The winning student will receive a $150 H&M gift card, 200 of the winning t-shirts to share with their peers, plus the student will be honored at the Shattering the Myths Youth Rally in Washington D.C., January 2015.

Media Smart logoThe Media-Smart Youth® Teen Leaders Program is designed for teens and young adults ages 15 to 20 who are interested in bringing the Media-Smart Youth: Eat, Think, and Be Active! ® program to their community.

In return, teens receive leadership experience, community service hours, and recognition from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). To help them succeed, the NIH provides training, ongoing assistance, and $1,000 for program expenses.

College Board releases SAT scores. Here’s how to interpret Delaware’s findings!

For Delaware, the report covers two distinct student populations:  scores for public school students who as juniors took the Universal SAT administered during the school day in April 2014 and those for the graduating Class of 2014, which includes public and private school students, including those public school students whose Universal SAT scores were released last fall.
