Mark your calendar! The Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale is January 25 – 28, 2018

Reading help and tutoring in Delaware at Back to Basics.Did you know? Literacy is one of the best predictors of a child’s future success. And, consistent access to books is absolutely necessary for a child to become both an engaged and capable reader.

In fact, current statistics on the subject suggest that 100 age-appropriate titles at a minimum should be available in each home. But, as most parents can attest, high quality books can be expensive!

That’s why we are excited for the annual Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale in Hockessin, Delaware. The annual sale features tens of thousands of books in every genre, including thousands and thousands of wonderful children’s books for all ages — and all at bargain prices.

Friends members only. Memberships at the door ($10)
Numbered admission tickets available starting at 2 pm

General Sale
January 26, Friday 9am-9pm
January 27, Saturday 9am-5pm
January 28, Sunday 9am-3pm
No Admission Fee

The sale will be held at the Hockessin Memorial Fire Hall, located at the junction of Lancaster Pike and Yorklyn Road in Hockessin, Delaware.
