Words can hurt! October is National Anti-Bullying Month

From elementary school aged children pushed on the playground to teens suffering online harassment, bullying is a problem for kids of all ages. National Anti-Bullying Month was created to help raise awareness and educate the public about this growing issue.

Did you know that bullying is the most common form of violence in schools? In fact, in a recent study released by the Josephson Institute of Ethics in Los Angeles, more than 43,000 teens between the ages of 15 and 18 were surveyed about bullying – and over half had been victims of bullying or had bullied other students!
