Notes from Parents
Thank you from myself and my grandson. After a previous experience with another tutor program, I found
Back to Basics very relaxing, and the tutor very comforting. My grandson totally loved the experience at
your office and his tutor.

Dear Back to Basics,
Only met for a one-time session. Student stated he learned more from tutor than he did in a year from his teacher.

Dear Back to Basics,
Every tutor we have had at Back to Basics has been terrific.

Dear Back to Basics,
We wanted to let you know how pleased and appreciative we are regarding Sean's progress during this 2005-2006 school year.
Sean's academic growth in all subject areas has been a true delight to witness and simultaneously has caused his self-confidence to soar. He enjoys the challenges of his school days, is proud to be learning a second language, and eagerly completes home assignments.
The staff has been wonderful in recognizing Sean's learning strengths, while also helping him grow enormously in the areas in which he previously struggled. He is now a motivated learner and truly happy with the social approach of the program this year.
John and I extend a heartfelt thanks to you and your entire staff. We highly recommend the program every chance we get. Bravo!

Dear Back to Basics,
It was June of our daughter's sophomore year in high school and we didn't know where to send her for her junior year. We could not work with the public school system to get our daughter some of the special needs that she required. A half a semester at a private school was equally frustrating. The teachers and staff were not capable of dealing with a child that did not fit the mold. When I called Back to Basics to ask about tutoring, I was put through to Beverly. What a godsend! She understood what we had experienced in the traditional school systems and I know we had found the right place. The entire staff was very supportive. The tutors were excellent and really boosted our daughter's self esteem. The attention, nurturing and education she received were phenomenal. Our daughter completed both her junior and senior years at Back to Basics and even received significant scholarships from four different colleges.

Dear Back to Basics,
My husband called to thank Joe (our daughter's Back to Basics tutor) for a great job. But, we also wanted to make sure you know what a great person he is and the success we had. Even if our daughter hadn't achieved really good grades, as she did, we would have been very grateful for his contribution to Erica's self confidence. Erica has been going through a very complicated emotional time. Joe showed great patience and faith in her ability to not only complete the work, but do well. He was very considerate of our situation and we can't thank him enough. We have more hurdles and another year to get through, but Joe created a better foundation and we'll certainly be calling on you to help us when the need arises. Thank you for the great resource.

Dear Back to Basics,
The skill, patience and warm friendship of the tutors have done wonders for my children's confidence in their math abilities. Homework time at our house is now serene and peaceful since Back to Basics entered our lives.

Dear Back to Basics,
We are writing to let you know that Julie's November SAT score came in at 1220, a full 220 points higher than her previous scores! Needless to say, Julie, her mother, and I are thrilled.

Dear Back to Basics,
The homeschooling program at Back to Basics has been outstanding!
Both our sons, Kenny and Kevin, have been fortunate enough to work with all the wonderful staff whose warmth and caring has brought out the best in them.
They have learned more at Back to Basics than they could have possibly learned in any other school. The opportunity to choose their
own courses made learning an enjoyable experience for them. Kenny graduated in 2004 and Kevin will graduate in 2006.
We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to Beverly, Donna Duffy and all the wonderful staff that have helped make our children's
education a success.
THANK YOU!

Notes from Students
I just wanted to send a brief note thanking you and Dave for a very positive tutoring experience at Back To Basics.
Not only did I receive an "A" in the class; but, I can approach statistical problems with a lot more confidence.
Dave simpified the information and provided direction without giving me the answers. I still had to work out
the problems myself. Breat technique!
I remembered your organization fromn the past, when my son James needed help with Algebra. His tutor's name was John
and he too was very helpful.
Enjoy the Summer and thanks again.
Best Wishes,
Margaret
Dear Back to Basics,
My parents have afforded me the opportunity to receive math tutoring from Back to Basics for the last few years, and
this has helped me maintain a high average in my grades and more importantly, it has made me feel more confident of
my math skills. I hope to continue with my tutor as he reinforces what I learn, and his assistance helps me do
better with certain areas I simply don’t understand. I think it would be great for other students and their
families to learn that Back to Basics is a great educational resource.
Taylor Folt, high school student
I wanted to say thank you Beverly for letting me come back to the greatest school on earth. You set me up with all the
things that I needed and it worked out wonderfully. It helped get me where I needed to be. I just want to say hope you
have a great summer and thanks for everything Beverly.

Dear Sir or Ma'am,
Back to Basics...isn't just for kids!!!
My name is Brian and I am 46 years old. I would highly recommend Back to Basics to any one who is struggling with any particular topic in any level of education.
I was finishing up my degree at a local college and needed to pass a class in "Inferential Statistics" in order to graduate. I realized I wasn't doing well and I needed help.
One Saturday I put my plea out on a local radio station...a program that connects people with things & services. I thought..."Hey, it couldn't hurt". Within 20 minutes of making my plea on the radio...a person fro Back to Basics contacted me at home...the rest is history.
I worked with one of their staff who sent weekly e-mail updates to my college professor. He created a comfortable atmosphere in which I learned the basics of "Inferential Statistics". I passed the class and graduated from a local college in summer of 2005...with honors.
As I look for a new job with room for advancement, with a Bachelor of Science from a local college and 20 years of experience...I have more vocational options than before.
This would not have been possible with out Back to Basics.
Sincerely,
Brian J. Crowley
Dear Back to Basics,
Back to Basics had a real challenge in teaching me a foreign language. As a University of Delaware student in her mid sixties, they enabled me to receive a B+ each semester by providing excellent instruction. They listen to your needs concerning the time and place that is best for you to learn; they act on that need to match you with an excellent instructor and then, to keep their standards high, they ask for your feedback. Whether a person is six or sixty, I am confidence that Back to Basics will make it enjoyable to learn.

Dear Back to Basics,
I just wanted to thank you for your time, effort, sincerity and resourcefulness in helping to prepare for the GRE. With your prompt
assistance, I was able to obtain the expert tutelage of two fine teaching professionals and more importantly two wonderful people. A very special, heartfelt THANKS to Dr. Doerner and Ms. George for all their preparation. Hopefully my scores will be as strong.

Dear Back to Basics,
I got to know the staff and several tutors at Back to Basics when my daughter was home schooled there. So when I decided I'd like to learn German that was the first place I thought of. I've had a blast! The tutors are very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to be around.

To Back to Basics:
Back to Basics is a very professional organization to deal with. We used them to supply tutors for our after school program for students in grades two through five. The tutors supplied by Back to Basic are usually current or retired teachers. The students enjoyed the tutors and the small group setting. We used Back to Basics for several years and during that time the tutors were observed every few weeks by Back to Basics. I found the staff cooperative and someone was always available to answer any question I may have had. It made my job easier as the program coordinator not to have to worry about the quality of the tutors or to supply any needed substitutes. Working with Back to Basics and Beverly Stewart has been one of the better educational experiences I have had during the 35 years I spent working in an elementary school.

Dear Back to Basics,
Back to Basics is an extraordinary service that offers their clients individualized tutoring for students of all learning styles. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and works hard to offer the best academics and establish a strong rapport between student and tutor. As a teacher, I know that when I recommend parents to Back to Basics, that they will be pleased with what they have to offer to meet the needs of their child.

The homeschooling program at Back to Basics affords students an opportunity to excel through a very unique educational experience. One-on-one instruction provides an excellent alternative to the traditional classroom experience.

I am always pleased to receive the Back to Basics newsletter and visits to the
website fill me with awe at what you folks are doing in partnership with kids of all ages who have a hard
time thriving as they strive to ‘do school’. Beverly Stewart endorsed my third literacy book,
