SERVICES LIST
Since 1985, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics has been the tri-state area's undisputed leader in 1-on-1 instruction and other education-related services for students of all ages. Our services are offered throughout the calendar year and our two Educational Centers in Wilmington and Newark are open all year. We offer a full range of educational options - from tutoring for pre-K through college-aged students, to adult education, to a unique state-approved Private School, to psycho-educational testing, to translating and interpreting, plus so much more.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS
"Back to Basics had a real challenge in teaching me a foreign language. As a University of Delaware student in her mid sixties, they enabled me to receive a B+ each semester by providing excellent instruction. They listen to your needs concerning the time and place that is best for you to learn; they act on that need to match you with an excellent instructor and then, to keep their standards high, they ask for your feedback. Whether a person is six or sixty, I am confident that Back to Basics will make it enjoyable to learn."

Judy Harper

TUTORING
Back to Basics' 1-on-1 tutoring approach provides maximum benefits by increasing knowledge of subject matter and building self-esteem. Tutors are placed with students in a standing schedule. The student has the same tutor each session, thus building a rapport and knowledge of teaching and learning styles.

Tutoring is available in over 60 subjects and is provided either in the student's home, school, office, summer camp, afterschool care, or at our Education Centers in either Wilmington or Newark, Delaware.

We educate students from a broad range of abilities - whether gifted, learning disabled, visually impaired, hearing-impaired, ADHD, Asperger's, or simply in need of some support.

ORIGINAL CREDIT
High school students can take an entire course, 1-on-1, for credit through Back to Basics in order to get ahead for the following school year. For example, if a student wanted to take an extra science, math, or social science course to enhance his/her transcript for college, Back to Basics would teach the course to the student -- complete with quizzes, tests, homework, and projects, as appropriate. These courses can be taken in the summer or at any time throughout the calendar year by a student who has gotten behind in credits. Back to Basics is Department of Education-approved for original credit.

CREDIT RECOVERY/SUMMER
Back to Basics has been Department of Education-approved since 1985 to provide summer school instruction, 1-on-1, for K-12. This applies to public, private and parochial school students, including high school credit. The increase in skills and confidence are markedly greater than in a classroom summer school environment. Students are much better prepared for the following school year. Unlike a traditional summer school, Back to Basics accommodates vacation and job schedules. More than 60 subjects are offered.

EDUCATIONAL & INTELLECTUAL TESTING
Back to Basics offers psycho-educational evaluations for children and adults performed by licensed, clinical psychologists on staff in Wilmington, Delaware.

Using the most sophisticated measures available, Back to Basics can help maximize a student's success by analyzing the style in which he/she learns, his/her strengths and non-strengths, and any learning differences. EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING
An educational consultant and advocate is often necessary when parents are considering making transitions between schools, or when students are experiencing difficulties with academics or social settings. Additionally, when parents are confused by the vast amount of education lingo and there are numerous decisions to be made regarding their child's immediate and long-term future--this is the time to call in a seasoned professional to answer questions and perhaps act as an advocate for your child. This includes speaking as an education expert in child custody hearings. Beverly Stewart, M.Ed., educational consultant and founder of Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc., provides these services.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS
