Back to Basics honors outstanding tutors

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics honored its top tutors in its annual performance awards.
C. Keith McGowan of Fairfax was named the “Most Diversified Tutor” for his range of subjects and grade
levels and willingness to travel to multiple locations. He tutors in 32 subjects.
Jacqueline Berger of Wilmington was honored for 16 years of continuous service as an English, French
and Spanish tutor.
E. Talley Brown of Pike Creek was named “Outstanding Homeschool Instructor.” She teaches students in
Back to Basic’s alternative education program.
Kimberly Dorda was named “Outstanding New Tutor.”
Long-time tutors Sara Nehra of North Wilmington and John Yunger of Pike Creek received "Star Recognition"
for continued excellence and dedication to students.
