Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. Earns Spot in Prestigious “Book of Lists”
    Contact: Beverly Stewart, M.Ed. 302-594-0754

Wilmington, Delaware -- Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc., the region’s largest independently owned and operated tutoring and educational facility, has been named to the state’s prestigious “2006 Book of Lists.” Back to Basics was ranked #12 in the state in the woman-owned category, marking the fourth consecutive year that the firm has been named to the list. Compiled by the Business Ledger, the annual "Book of Lists" ranks the state's largest employers in a variety of categories such as publicly-held businesses, woman-owned companies, and non-profit agencies.

"It is tremendously gratifying to again be included in the “Book of Lists," says Back to Basics' president and director Beverly Stewart." When I founded the firm in 1985, I was the sole employee. Now Back to Basics employs almost 100 professional, degreed tutors, offers over 50 subjects, and has served the varied educational needs of over 9,000 students in the tri-state area."

In addition to the “Book of Lists,” the firm and its founder have also been the recipients of many local and national awards. Due to Stewart’s tenacity and vision, she received the “Delaware Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year Award” in 1998, the “She Knows Where She’s Going Award” in 2001, the “Outstanding Alumni Award” by the University of Delaware in 2002, the “Business Hot Shot” honor by Delaware Today magazine, and the Small Business Administration’s “Small Businessperson of the Year” award in 2004.
