Evanston, Illinois -- Nationally recognized educational entrepreneur, business consultant, and motivational speaker Beverly Stewart, M.Ed. will conduct an educational workshop entitled “Nuts and Bolts of Starting a Tutoring Service” at the annual Education Industry Association Edventures Conference. The conference, scheduled for August 4-6, 2004, will be held at Northwestern University in Evanston.
Over 500 educational entrepreneurs will attend the annual conference to discuss best practices in tutoring, contracting with schools for supplemental services, school management, and more. The conference will also feature workshops for the diverse group, including Stewart’s.
Stewart’s workshop offers many practical solutions to building a tutoring business including how to realize your vision and start your own business, target the most probable and profitable sales opportunities, control the growth of an existing business, strengthen your competitive position, recognize and avoid common pitfalls, heighten client satisfaction, and diversify. Equally important, the workshop focuses on taking a educator who is already passionate about learning, and directing that enthusiasm into a fulfilling and rewarding career.
