Back to Basics strives to make its services as convenient as possible. We offer early morning, late evening,
even Saturday and Sunday hours to accommodate the most hectic schedules.

Tutoring Hours
Sunday-Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
For your convenience, additional hours are available at your request.
IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, all closings will
be announced on WSTW- 93.7 FM / WDEL 1150 AM Radio and on TV NBC 10 and WPVI-TV ABC 6 Action News.
Our full service educational facility is located at 6 Stone Hill Road in Wilmington, Delaware. The building is
located just off Augustine Cut-Off across from the Accenture building. The center is easily accessible from
points north and south, just minutes from I-95. Ample free parking is available. And although much of our
tutoring service takes place at the center, tutoring can be provided in the student's home, office, school,
daycare center, or summer camp. Our Back to Basics building in Wilmington is wheelchair accessible.

From the North
1) Take Route 202 South to Augustine Cut-Off. Travel less than one mile, turn left onto Stone Hill Road, and pull into
our parking lot. The building is tan with a large blue sign and flagpole. - or -
2) Take I-95 South to the Route 202 South exit. Follow to the traffic light at Broom Street, and turn right onto Broom
Street. Follow to 18th Street and turn right. Follow around the bend to the light and turn right onto Augustine Cut-Off.
Come up the hill and bear right onto Stone Hill Road. We are on the immediate right. The building is tan with a large
blue sign and a flagpole.
From the South
Take I-95 to the Route 202/Concord Pike exit. At the exit fork, take 202 South. Follow to the traffic light at Broom
Street and turn right onto Broom Street. Follow to 18th Street and turn right. Follow around the bend to the light and

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. was founded by president and director Beverly Stewart.
Stewart holds a Master's Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education,
having graduated with highest honors, and has a background in both psychology and testing.
Stewart is called upon as an educational consultant around the country, and has been featured in
national and local magazines, and on radio and television as an expert in the education field.
1985 - As a teacher, Beverly Stewart has a vision of reaching every student. Her six years of experience
in a traditional classroom have shown her this is not always the most effective method of instruction. So, in
1985 she establishes Back to Basics Tutoring Service. Working from her one-bedroom apartment, takes a tremendous
risk leaving a successful teaching career. However, her passion for quality education forces her to take the plunge. Read more
