Kohl’s Kids Who Care Scholarship accepting applications now through March 13

Kohls scholarship logoThis scholarship is for students between the ages of 6 and 18 who have not yet graduated from high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have done volunteer work in the past year that goes above and beyond what is expected from a young person of their age. They must also be legal US residents of a state in which a Kohl’s store is located and be nominated by someone over the age of 21 (parents can nominate their own children).

Selection will be based on the volunteer project, benefits, and outcome; financial need and academic performance will not be considered. Two hundred $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the regional winners, 100 to students ages 6-12 and 100 to students ages 13-18. Ten national winners, five from each age group, will receive a $10,000 scholarship.
