Spotlight on Back to Basics’ one-on-one private school instructor Carolyn Crow

January’s tutor spotlight is on Carolyn Crow. Carolyn is an instructor in our state-approved, 1-on-1 Private School. She also tutors grades 8-12 in anatomy/physiology, biology, general science, health, life science, real estate math and French I-III.

Carolyn is not a native Delawarean but her roots are not far. She was born and raised in Salem County, NJ. She began her post secondary education in New Jersey then transferrd to and graduated from the University of Delaware and currently resides in the Newark area.

When Carolyn is not teaching, she enjoys reading, doing crosswords, and traveling. Although most travel is put on hold these days as Carolyn enjoys her most time-consuming and enjoyable past time—her two year old daughter! We’re glad to have you on our staff, Carolyn.

For 25 years, Back to Basics has been recognized as the area’s undisputed leader in one-on-one tutoring. In addition, the firm offers a unique Delaware private school for grades K-12 and a Private Business and Trade School for adults. Back to Basics is the 2010 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
